You are invited to join us for our third annual "Every Girl Matters Day," on Oct 11, 2015. The British Colombian government has officially proclaimed this day as Every Girl Matters in conjunction with the United Nations "Day of the Girl." A day to recognize the global rights of girls around the world. Join us as we present a special guest speaker who will be sharing her inspiring story. Our community art project includes creating handmade mason jar lanterns which you can take home & keep a candle burning to remind yourself that EVERY GIRL MATTERS. Coffee and cake will be served, this is FREE COMMUNITY EVENT. This event is brought to you by the partnership between GirlKIND and The Reach Gallery Museum in Abbotsford, BC.
