You are invited to join us for our sixth annual "Every Girl Matters Day," on Oct 11, 2018. The British Columbia government has officially proclaimed this day as Every Girl Matters in conjunction with the United Nations "Day of the Girl." A day to recognize the global rights of girls around the world.
Come out and take part in our “Sticky Notes Project,” write down your favorite quote or inspiring words (everything will be provided) in this collaborative community art project. The notes will be posted on display at the Reach for the month of October; they later will be converted into a book.
In addition, we will also be having a draw where one lucky winner will take home a Samsung Galaxy. The first 50 attendees walk away with SWAG Bags!!!! Don’t miss out!
**No purchase is necessary to enter draw, one entry per person. Winner must be present on the day of the draw/event on Oct 11th, 2018 at The Reach. If your name is drawn and you are NOT present then another name will be drawn until a winner is confirmed.**
Join us as we empower, educate, inspire and work in solidarity for change within our community.
Refreshments will be provided. This is FREE COMMUNITY EVENT. Brought to you in partnership between GirlKIND and The Reach.
The event is from 4pm-5pm at The Reach Gallery Museum | 32388 Veterans Way in Abbotsford.

Graduations are so very inspiring; young lives, big passions and so many dreams. 🎓Tonight we celebrate all the grads of W.J. Mount Secondary School in #Abbotsford. A very special congrats to Miss. Jaenjira Lane as she was this year’s recipient for GirlKIND’s scholarship!!!💕💕💕 A young woman with a big heart, compassion and a great advocate for creating change. Well done!😊

We marked our 5th Annual "Every Girl Matters Day," in Abbotsford. We held a small celebration with coffee and cake and featured local talent including the very fun and talented band called “Her Brothers.” We also had an art section open for the public to get creative and write their own inspirational quotes on canvas. You are invited to join us for our fifth annual "Every Girl Matters Day," on Oct 11, 2017. The British Columbian Government has officially proclaimed this day as Every Girl Matters in conjunction with the United Nations "Day of the Girl." A day to recognize the global rights of girls around the world.
Come join!!!! There will be a live performance by the band “Her Brothers.” They are an alternative rock band who are standing up for women and girls by spreading their message through their music. Described as “high energy rock with an intense longing for meaning.
Join us as we empower, educate, inspire and work in solidarity for change within our community.
Come take part in our canvas art project, individuals will be able create their own pieces of inspirational quotes on canvas which they can take home. All supplies will be provided.
Coffee and cake will be served, this is FREE COMMUNITY EVENT. This event is brought to you by the partnership between GirlKIND and The Reach.
